When you keep going around the same old mountain...
Before you know it forty years has passed...
Carrying all the burdens of a broken heart and broken dreams...
The weight is heavy but, you carry it anyway...
You close your mind and you close your heart...
You get trapped in the wilderness, the comfort of sadness and gloom to keep you, and to hold you...
All the wrong choices and bad decisions are the company you keep...
Conversations with the negative voices, you don't hear their lies and you don't see their deceit...
A good thing could come your way...
But, you are much to heavy and you won't let go of the extra weight...
When you go around the same old mountain...

This reminds me strongly of the old lady in the film Labyrinth carrying the accumulated weight of her whole life. Every time I see that film something in my head starts shouting. Throw it all away, straighten up and dance.
I'm with Tina on this one. Choose a different mountain, climb it and then jump off with a hang-glider and fly.
