Poem -

Going home

Going home

Going home
I knew the moment you walked in
The doctors have already said..
The tears began to stream down your cheeks,
I said  wipe those eyes child and "Don't you weep".
My journey on this earth has come to a end.
My soul is going home to be with God again.
Please don't you cry,  I'll still be standing by your side.
You may not see me, but I'll be there
That warm touch you feel in the air,
will be me assuring you that I'm there.
Don't be sad or feel bad for my life.
God sent me here to be the light in the night
for all those who are lost and can't find there way.
Some will see the light God sends
and we will meet in heaven once again.
