Gone too Soon

A precious gift tender and rare that is now in “Gods” loving care,

 With a heart of gold that was gentle and kind to all he knew

 A gentle soul who cared that has gone too soon

For his body may be gone

 But he remains in our hearts and soul

 For there he shall remain as time passes on

Remember the times that were once shared and his dreams shall live on

 Through the memories that were made

 The people he encountered the friends he made

 And the loving family he lives behind

May his soul rest easy as he opens

A new door as he is greeted by those whom have past

 As he is embraced by love once more

Although it sadden my heart to see him go

Perhaps “God needed him more

 We may never understand why he had to go

But I’ll always keep those memories that we made

 And good times we shared therefore

He’ll never be far as his spirit lives on

for his presence shall always be there deep within my heart
