Good Ol’e Mr. Moon

Good Ol’e Mr. Moon

Where’er we wander
It doesn’t matter how near or far
We could traverse to the end of our world or perhaps along the lane in a car
I adore to stop and look way up high
and there you are Mr. Moon shining in my eye
You cock your head as if to say
“Well hello again”
He actually watched me getting on a train
I travelled sixty miles it took me quite a while
As soon as I got off train I gave Mr. Moon a smile

He is always watching me
Mr. Moon never leaves my side
even though I have been on holidays and journeyed far and wide
There is only one Mr. Moon sleepily yawning
Wouldn’t you think he’d change his expression when he wakes up in the morning
Good ol’e Mr Moon our brilliant guiding light
An illuminated beacon thru the darkness of the night
You shine so bright like a big yellow balloon
Mother Nature’s beautiful creation
Our good ol’e Mr.Moon
