Goodbye

As we say our goodbyes today

Our hearts question life’s fairness

But as we remember her for whom she was

We are also reminded of God’s Greatness

May she continue to live on in our hearts

As special memories ease the pain

With so much love and fondness

Until our souls meet again

At times like these we realize life’s worth

Each moment a precious gift

May peace and comfort be our strength

Knowing she’s in a place of rest

And so with tears of joy and sadness

We say goodbye to set her free

Letting go is the hardest part

But peace is knowing where she’ll be.
