The day I feared is finally here
The end of the road for my father dear
When I saw him lying still on the bedroom floor
It was hard to believe I would see him no more

Eighty eight years is now over for this proud man
He always tried hard and did the best he can
The following days will for me be hard and long
For the sake of my mother I have to be strong
