Goodbye for now

I waited there with my arms open wide
I was so excited to get inside 
The gates opened up and there he stood
not looking like I thought he would
I was welcomed in with open arms
It was then I felt an instant calm
His voice was soft and his arms were warm
I felt safe at last away from the storm
With no more tears and no more pain 
It's goodbye for now until we meet again
Don't be sad and Don't feel bad
I'm safe and warm and I'm feeling glad
