We impetuously move on

We languish not behind

Act by act
We conquer all we seek

Cause will lead to effect
When action emboldens
And we put satisfaction to the test
Improvement is forever best
Inertia will cause immense distress
More is better than enough or less

The future calls
The past pushes
The now is side-lined
Hope is energized with each new horizon
That always deceitfully disappears

Tomorrow calls

One day should always follow yesterday
Yonder must always have allure
The short term view puts
Reason out of sight
There is no dissatisfaction
For we all are in
The same onward plight

Stop and you will grow roots
Think and you find sensible truths
Wait and all pass you by
Look back and your shadow
Will give you a great fright

One day I will stay
Another day I will reside
Today I will habituate
Tomorrow I will be gone
