GRANDAD LEFT ALONE

He hasn't committed an offence or a crime
This grandad will be alone this Christmas time
Nobody will be able to visit him this year
Not his fault he lives in the wrong tier

Usually this grandad gets a visit from his son
Who brings his wife and kids for a day of fun
This Christmas is different that is for sure
No one will be coming through his front door

I know this grandad he lives on my street
A lovely person is he and ever so sweet
Left on his own and no place he can go
My thoughts are with him a devastating blow
