Poem -

Grandma

You were the greatest woman,
To ever walk this earth,
Because of you I was blessed,
From the moment of my birth,
You truly meant the world to me,
And after all these years,
Every time I think of you,
I cry as many tears,
Mom never gave me the gift,
You sent when I turned ten,
The feeling that I had that day,
I never feel again,
You wrote me a poem,
I broke down in tears,
To find out you wrote poetry too,
After all these years,
We write exactly the same,
Although twenty three eight later,
Except for the birth of my twins,
No gift could be greater,
I know your watching over me,
My life is getting better,
I wish that you could read this poem,
I poured my heart into every letter.
