GRATEFUL

Sleep is for the weary so I rest my head 
Food is for the hungry so I have been fed
Thirsty is for the drinkers so I have drank 
Paper is for the poet so I won't leave it blank

Eyes are for the sighted with so much to see
Ears are for the listeners music sung beautifully 
Legs are for the walkers getting from A to B
Arms for the carriers whose arms are never free

All these things and several billions more 
Makes me feel so grateful that's for sure 
I have a loving family that I absolutely adore
Just want to put an end to viruses and war
