Gratitude

I woke up to a morning of gratitude, only to find myself having a positive attitude.

Finances are stable with food on the table, roof over my head and a comfortable bed.

Since all is said and done, it's time to have some fun, enjoy the sun in the garden, there is nothing to pardon.

I have a clean slate and nothing to irritate me, just an overwhelming feeling of joy even if I am a toy, but I have been since I was a little boy.

I refuse to let that get me down and on my face to put on a frown.

Instead I smile and it has been a while since happiness has come my way like today.
