Grave House

Grave House

Hear a heart~cries

Here a heart lies

Within ballooning

Blubberish skin

Bed ridden

Gluttonous sin.

Turn to food,

Huge appetite, your mental support

Save this one

From the many he's become

Drowning in outstretched flesh

Gorge; Privy upon see-food diets.

They all have given up,

Given up....is everydays slogan.

Sneezes unblessed

Dates set, watchful death

A family bet

That old ticker will attack

Swear wrong healthy sons,

When obituaries read:

There lies dear Dad,

Choked his last meal, flat on fat back.

It is very ironic im now noticing with the posting ofy 500th poem that it'd be about a morbid 500 pound fat man, but it is and I hope people see this as a message and not poking fun. Obesity is serious letting go of oneself can be helped, thats where care comes in, for yourself and for others. My thanks goes out to cosmofunnel and all those who supported me to reach this goal.

Gotta say great idea of a write, an tho these people deserve to get the help they need before it gets to far,  i have to be honest like alcoholics,  drug addicts i wish  them well and to get better, but i have no sympathy for them..maybe a good slap with the reality stick would be more help, cos the sympathy thing obviously dont work as its an increasing problem

As a poem its a daring write, not one ive seen bebefore, so kudos for originality :)

Well I gotta say thank you Twisted, good to see you on my page. Your right though, this is a disease a very disgusting one that we can definitely lump into the category of drugs and alcohol. Why you would want to eat yourself to death I don't know, I'd rather go out the leaving las vegas way and drink myself to death than end up looking like that. Thanks for recognizing the format helps with the delivery of my words.

Devon, I think you can't write a flat poem anymore, I swear....five hundred posted on the 'mother ship'...simply awesome; I know I haven't written 500 poems in my entire life, so congrats pal....yes this one is 'well penned'; no worries I didn't think you were making fun of anyone, it is respectful in my view; I don't know enough about this condition to even form an opinion, on what causes it, but obviously it shortens the lifespan and is generally unhealthy....this poetic essay is well written... great job, for originality and execution...a very relevant subject that is  addressed with  sobering clarity....cheers pal
