GRAVEYARD SHIFT

When most people are fast asleep for the night
I get ready for work guided by the moon light
The night-time revellers pass me on the street
Worse for wear and most unsteady on their feet

My work destination I arrive at just before three
A most peculiar time to work I'm sure you agree
It's called the graveyard shift for this reason
Hard to adjust whatever the day or season

I guess you are wondering what it is I do
For I am not a cleaner or work in a zoo
I'm responsible for all your night time requests
Serving the requirements for all hotel guests
