Great Again

Great Again

If only, only you could see
This phoney darkness inside me
My happiness oh how it bleeds
Failing to screen the want from need
I guess you could call it lazy
But this shadow, it makes me
Too busy coasting on the insignificant, we're failing to move on, I'm so sick of this

How can you see the end before we've begun?
Can't you see at the end of this, none of us have won?
Forcing myself to remember the good times
Trying to shelf, to shelf the bad times

We're lonely and we're damaged
This relationships been ravaged
Never learning from past mistakes
we've let it consume us, and now it's too late
Recovery seems a world away
A foreign language in a sovereign state
Please tell me what it will take, take to make us great again?

Hello Jason...

Welcome to Cosmo!

I wondered and believed that people wanted it better...

I am convinced they don't...

I am actually excited to see how the downfall people want and want to see is going to be a great reward for the ones who don't...

People have their own agenda...

They have their own priorities...

Those who remain with a good and kind attitude may lose some, but it's not the greatest loss...

What will be gained will be worth way more than the loss...

Have a seat, grab a bucket of popcorn and enjoy the show...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...

Hi sparrowsong

Thankyou for your kind comments

This is my first ever write and im not sure on structure or anything, or whether it's a free for all... so receiving positive feedback feels great!

Will be sure to make my way through your huge collection

Much love
