Great Mother Mater ❤️

Great Mother Mater ❤️

An unblemished blue blanket is the cloudless canvas overhead
Sunshine adorns my happiness
On my ritual ramble as I tread

A perfect late spring evening
As the weatherman would say
Tho one could hardly believe
It was heavy hailstones with dreary skies so grey

Only hours ago I got caught out in this sodden plight
I was soaked thru to the skin
Dripping off me, what a sight

So I showered yet again
Warmed my heart with a cup of tea
Mother nature’s untimely elements do not ever bother me

Tis only water after all
Needed nourishment for the ground
Shooting up the stems from planted bulbs
So silently they magically appear ne’er e’er a sound

I simply adore this time of year
Springtime blossoms scatter the earth
Paving their way for an abundance of fresh fruits to harvest
Our annual cycle of Great magna mater amidst all it’s worth

I enjoyed watching/reading your 'Train Of Thought' unravel poetically here....as you walked through a day with an extraordinary appreciation of Mother Nature's gifts to humanity......I REALLY enjoyed some the phrasing you unveiled as your awareness of those gifts were shining SO poetically ~

You have a remarkable talent of painting a picture so vividly it pulls the reader into your own world.  Very well done.
