Gunshot Victim

Bang! 9mm bullet impales my stomach,
How can one stomach the gore of war.

Bang! Another rips through my heart,
Who has within their heart the capability to kill.

Bang! The final one, lodged in my brain,
Metal penetrates memories and sensibility,
What sense does it make to take another's life.

Bang. Bang. Bang.
Men topple like jenga pieces,
Players on a board.
War's full of strategy,
A game that risks lives.

This game has the biggest risk,
When the innocent people die.

Hello Amy...

Many innocent people die just in the walk of life...

War wasn't always a choice to fight...

We could get there again and for some it's a new experience for others it's just history repeating itself...

People sacrifice they're lives to save the ones who don't...

Some People do it everyday because, it's their job...

There are savers and killers and they all put their clothes on the same way...

All depends on the person and what they believe...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...
