Guru

From darkness to light
To make our Life bright
We must go from Gu to Ru
And for this we need a Guru
We must find an Enlightened Master

Vivekananda had Ramakrishna
Chinmayananda had Sivananda
Meerabai had Ravidas
Shivaji's Guru was Ramdas
Do you have an Enlightened Master?

I, too, was chasing pleasure
I never found the true treasure
Till my Guru sent me on a Quest
I overcame ignorance and won the test
This happens with an Enlightened Master

Who is a true Guru?
Who can overcome our darkness, Gu
Who can show us the light, Ru
We are Awakened by a Guru
We need an Enlightened Master

The Guru is our Mentor and Guide
In our Guru, we can confide
The Guru will create that Illumination
From this, we will get Realization
Liberation happens with an Enlightened Master

The Guru is the GPS that shows the way
He gives us direction, every day
He activates our intellect to choose what's right
We overcome ignorance and with the myth we fight
If we can find an Enlightened Master

Is the Guru easy to find?
You can't, if you are a slave of your Mind
The Guru comes to us with God's grace
Not if we are running in the world's race
Have you met your Enlightened Master?

There are many Gurus, who is the right one?
With the right Guru, Life's battle is won
For it is the Guru who will unlock the door
With him, there is Peace, Love, Bliss and more
We must find an Enlightened Master

The Guru begins our Initiation
He cleanses us with Purification
He has an answer to every question
He teaches us the right lesson
We are Awakened by an Enlightened Master

The disciple must be a sincere seeker
With obedience, we will arrive quicker
The better Guru is one who is stricter
He is sincere, not a trickster
We must get to an Enlightened Master

To succeed, we must obey
We must trust and not disobey
We must take all doubts away
The Guru, we must not betray
Then we'll reach our goal, with an Enlightened Master

Life is nothing but a circus
It is the Guru that gives us Purpose
We overcome all anxiety and stress
We discover Eternal Happpiness
These are the rewards of having an Enlightened Master

If we are in search of God
If we want to attain the Lord
The Guru leads us to Self-Realization
And then, takes us to God-Realization
We must hold the hand of our Enlightened Master

What would I be without my Guru?
There would be no Ru, I would suffer in Gu
In Gu, darkness would be my life
Without Ru, light, there would be strife
I am grateful that I found my Enlightened Master

If you want to be free from suffering on earth
If you want to be free from Rebirth
If you want a meaningful Life
If you want Happpiness and don't want strife
It's time to find an Enlightened Master!
