Gym Is My Tabernacle

Gym Is My Tabernacle

The gym is my Tabernacle,
A place I long for, a place I seek.
A safe haven from all the daily disgust.
The gym is a war against my muscles, A place my sprit is freed,
The war in my head is tamed from all the ungodful memories.
A broken man enters, and a revived man leaves.
The gym is my tabernacle, the gym is my peace.
There is no room for shame, only resurrection.
The weight on my shoulders is lifted,
Only from heart and the will to survive.
It is war of the mind, strength of the heart,
Its a place where legends and gods are born.
The gym is my tabernacle, the gym is my defeat.
Upon entering your doors, I leave the world behind,
I stand there erect in your great halls,
The sight of agony, the smell of fear.
Titans clashing with iron giants is all is see.
The gym is my tabernacle, the gym is ME.
