Poem -

Sea Glass

They shot seagulls for fun
Or something. Flying rats.
They said
better off dead

They killed seagulls for fun.
run run run run
flying rats they said. Off.
with their heads

there,

a sea wind tugged sand grass
it tugged at me too. I held.
to my sea glass
was just a wee lass

I shot big men. For fun.
Had no real gun, and
I screamed. At those sea birds.
To
run run run run
