HALCYON DAZE

Daisy chained daffodil disavowals,

concourse off course recourse discourse,

destabilizing the monuments of Ur,

with my time machine batteries.

You fall into the rhythm,

eventually eventuality forms its own,

language of sorts eviscerating grace,

the torturous obscurity of their thesis,

monograde mongoose cobra omelette pep-talk,

cirque du soleil hamper circuit,

Amperstand upscale tipped sunk boat,

Cavalry of the upanishad variety,

falling into the abyss' distillation,

we became monuments of time.

Frozen in the cascade of Oppenheimer,

chain reaction time out side,

swiped card age of majority.

Of the time, they're playing,

war and such, we fell,

on better days, Halcyon Daze.
