Half & Half

I have laid with many women, not to boast

some very pretty while others, less than most

Few lasted years, some for months, the rest only minutes

smiles here and there with a handful gimmicks

Understand it is hard to build a relationship 

we all need someone there in case we slip

It's always a surprise when they finally let u fall

better to have loved and lost then never loved at all

I find this difficult to believe 

maybe cuz she left me for the neighbor steve
 
Some women want romance 

others just need a man in their pants

A handful really enjoyed my dark humor

I enjoy them in the twenties but have been with a boomer

With all this experience I've learned one thing for certain

A cup of coffee is way better when half is bourbon
