Poem -

Half of a Heart

I am half of a heart without you,
Half the person who I was, kind of there but not.
I am hollow without you,
Dark blue as the depths of the ocean, cloudy and unknown of the what not.
I am lost without you,
Like missing half of a shoe, walking bloody through the rough jagged edges of the thorns from life and getting shot!
I am half of a man without you,
Waking up to a nightmare of the dark and unknown demons with bloodshot eyes with tears that burn hot!
I miss everything I am with you,
Tender, soft, brown eyes to carry me home, how can I explain I'm still here waiting long after your not.
I am broken, yet my heart is unchanged for you,
Clear, cold as ice, I am frozen in time and unchanged long after you're gone.
I am half of a heart without you.
