Poem -

halloween

the night as black as coal,
as i walk down these barely lit
roads,
monsters peering from the darkness
wanting to consume my soul,
as i walk down these endless
roads,
getting darker the further i go,
debating if my mind is playing
tricks,
as the fog begins to grow,
 howling wind begins to
blow,
i begin to quicken my pace,
as my heart begins to race,
as the monsters begin their
chase.
