Halloween

Big and small rapscallions are out for Halloween;
A burning bag with doggy stool upon a stoop is seen.
A rock goes through a street light, a window gets the same.
The owner runs into the street but no one’s there to blame.

A giggling group of ghosts and goblins runs up to a door.
Their little bags are full of candy, but they all want more.
A man dressed as a pirate leaps out upon his porch.
He yells, "Avast! What have we here?" and raises up his torch.

The children scream out, "Trick or treat, you have to make a pick,"
And then they see him smile and he says, "Fine I’ll take the trick."
The little ghosts and goblins are startled and confused.
The pirate, much to their dismay, is totally amused.

The kids go in a huddle.
Their thoughts are all a muddle.
Suddenly the huddle breaks. They smile at their host.
An Olympic-10 cartwheel is done by one enchanting ghost.

TRICK IT IS!
