Halloween

Autumn's here, October's end
Kids will send you round the bend
In half arsed costumes made from a sheet
They're hungry for chocolate anything sweet
Kids demand sweets with menace
Pelting houses with rotten egg tennis
High on sugar, out of their mind
Ghosts and ghouls of every kind

Not just the kids, but grown ups too
Dressed as Freddy and god knows who
Naughty devils, who think they're all that
Stockings, suspenders and a witch's hat
Another excuse to gorge on booze
Ghoulish cocktails and weird brews
The night will end in a surreal fight
But at least it's safer than Bonfire Night.
