The days reeked of the death of summer
Where colors painted nature
With bloodlust
And the sisters brewing their intoleration
Decided to sacrifice
Their cousins innards and soul
To the promise
Of more death to come
And the tricks and treats bore spiders
With webs of deceit
And the gruesome faces of pumpkins
Wearing the faces of death
Painted by witches in the woods
Where the promise
Of more bloodshed to come
Made them snicker and whisper incantations
Birthing the spawn of Caesars
And anticipating
The coming arrival
Of
All Saints Day......
