Hands To Heaven

My prayers had gone unanswered

I had doubt inside my heart

Until the day that I stopped praying

And I lost my Faith in God

As I lost all my possessions

And He striped me of my pride

My life had lost all meaning

I fell to my knees and cried

"Lord I come to you now humbled

And I'm down on bended knee

My heart is surely broken

You're the only hope for me

As I prayed with such conviction

I found Faith in our Lords words

Then my pain had all been lifted

I knew this time he'd heard

Now I raise my hands to Heaven

And I thank Him for His Grace

When I thought I was Forsaken

I soon realized I was Saved
