Happiness over sorrow
Try not tonshed a tear but smile from ear to ear

Happiness over sorrow
Â
Why shed a tear?
Why the need for cascades of them falling?
Why cry?
Whether out or inside,
The whole street hearing your bawling?
Please,
Just answer me why?
Is it from fear?
Â
Why can’t we smile and be happy all of the time?
Why can’t we just laugh,
Just world peace,
No war crimes.
Laughter and smiles are the keys to happiness,
With the happy endorphins flooding your heart and minds.
Â
When will all the worlds death toll drop?
When will it begin to take a step back,
Away from the worlds stage,
Like a theatre flop.
When will I start to smell summer bbqs,
Dancing around the kitchen,
 whilst we prepare,
Cook and chop.
Friendly faces everywhere,
No matter where we shop.
No arguments after rush buying,
Everyone taking an equal stock.
Â
We are the masters of our own fate,
Our own destiny.
So never let a pessimist,
Tell you any other way.
Fate is from the date of conceiving,Â
 to passing away.
Fate is a path we get led on,
Along 2 parallel pathways.
You’ve just got to decide which route you’ll take,
And then it’ll be with you,
Until the end of days.
So choose fate wisely as I did,
Don’t start a relationship if you can already see frays.
Leap forward in life,
Only if your gut and mind instinct both agree,
As you don’t want the path,
That’ll have you slain.
Leading a life,
Full of yearnings,
Meaningful memories,
Are what you want to gain.
Â
So the ifs',
Buts’,
Whys’,
Wheres’ and whens’,
 really don’t matter,
As,
Unless by accident,
You’ll be prepared for your end.
So live life to it’s fullest,
Whether on your own,
With loved ones and also your friends.
Take it from me,
If You do this,
You’ll have the happiest of ends!

Hello James, I do like a poem that makes you think. This is a take stock poem. You read it and instantly reflect on your own life, taking stock on each decision you have made. I have always found trusting my gut pays off. My life has definitely shaped the way I view things now. Although sadness, if we carry is most definitely better out than in. But that’s due to my experiences. But you’re a thinker and thinkers always excite me. Bravo with this poem. You got me thinkingÂ
Gwen :)
