Happiness Tripping

There will be no full contrition
until we reach
the Gates of Desperation 

When depleted of all options
the view becomes crystal clear
from whence we came
as does the path
to our future
final landing destination

The trip through Depression
can be exceedingly bleak
but you'll never find
elusive Happiness
without first successfully
traversing the Blues
