Happy 4th

I love the smell of gunpowder in the evening
The Lingering smoke remains upon fixed stairs,
All the hypnotizing colors amazing
Bombs bursting in the air.
Oh what a day to appreciate freedom
With friends, relatives, Ma, and Pa,
Placing hands on stripes and starred hearts
Saying oooooohhhhh........ and aaaaahhhhh........
Every blue blooded American
Partakes in a stunningly beautiful visual holiday,
Recreating the fight for independence in the summer's night sky
banners wave and fireworks fly.
So Happy fourth of July
A celebration between one big family,
We bleed the red, white, and blue
Always going out with a grand finale.
