Happy fathers day, dad, who's way up high

A thought for all our Lost fathers

21/06/2020
Happy fathers day,
dad,
who’s way up high

My gods,
but dad I will always miss you, I just wanted you to know,
I’m always thinking of you,
But I’m sure to you,
this always will show.

Happy fathers day,
Who’s way up high,
To the best dad there ever could be,
You will always be held in the highest regard,
Not just in my mind,
But everyone who’s met you, Just especially me.
From birth you doted on me,
I was your last little bundle of lol,
Supposed joy!
Well I was,
But naughty,
But as you used to say,
ā€˜ā€™Not my little boy''...

My gods,
but dad I will always miss you,
I just wanted you to know,
I’m always thinking of you,
But I’m sure to you,
this always will show.

Not a single day goes by,
That you don’t cross my mind, I loved your smiles and laughter,
You are,
In so many ways,
even in card terms,
A 1 of a kind.
You’re a charismatic,
Inspiring and a loving kind of dad.
There’ll never be another like you,
To whom I’ll have that special bind.
Never will anyone even remotely come close,
As You are the best dad, anyone could ever hope for and find!

My gods,
but dad I will always miss you, I just wanted you to know,
I’m always thinking of you,
But I’m sure to you,
this always will show.

Why did you have to be snatched away from us,
Just as I was starting,
This extension of a family of mine.
Life can be so cruel, Especially to my hero,
My dad,
My icon.
I just want him to be proud, How I’m keeping our Bevan namesake,
To hopefully carry on.
I was the last of the Bevans, To have this chance. Somehow I done it,
Even though infertile,
I laid my roots,
Just like earths plants.
And out blossomed 3 beautiful boys,
Aged 13,
8 and 10.
For them,
like you,
I would do absolutely anything!

My gods,
but dad I will always miss you,
I just wanted you to know,
I’m always thinking of you,
I’m sure to you,
this always will show.
I’m hoping that it does.
Dad I miss you so.
Why from this planet were you taken,
To be released,
When I wasn’t ready,
To let my dad go.
I’m just glad you now don’t sit here in pain.
I’m happiest when I think of all the smiles and laughter, Which you bought with you, each day,
Whether it be bright and sunny,
Or pouring down with rain.
Everyday without you dad, Has never been the same.
I even wear your blackbirds, beady eye ring,
I wear it with heart, To carry on,
In the Bevans’ hall of fame,
A Ring so wanted,
Kobe’s already made his claim.
For when the day comes,
Like it did for I,
It was given to me,
at your death bedside.
Ever since that day,
Even when needing repair and giving me a pinch,
I wear his signet ring with pride.
It emboldens me,
And reminds me,
That you dad,
Like I will eternally be for my 3,
Are always by my side!
So Happy Fathers Day father, And let us all remember,
How you really did have,
An amazing time in your extraordinary,
Adventure,
of a life!Ā
