The Harder The Conflict The Greater The Glory

Because we my heroes

Do not belong to our victories

Because the sun doesn't

Stop shining just because

We want it to because

Odds are everyone you'll

Ever met will look at you with doubt

Because no matter how far we

Pedal those pedals will eventually rust

But hear me now stand tall stand proud

And if those pedals rust

Leave them in the dust, run

To where the sun will shine

In your direction and if they doubt you

Tell them they're better off without you

And come back stronger for

A little correction

Take a lesson from the sun

And shine everyday

Make sure they know that

When the moon comes

The sun will return to say

Our victories belong to us

And those before me
