On Reflection

Life can be such a stern test

Considering all, I always try my best

Frequently, I'm not satisfied with my effort

I keep striving to do better, despite the hurt

I often feel unhappy with what I've done

However hard the obstacle I've overcome

Beset by doubts that I have done enough

I choose to tackle the toughest of the tough

When, at what age, will I be truly content ?

When, in words, can I convey my torment ?
