Poem -

HAUNTED

Your shoes haunt me
I should throw them away
Their emptiness calls to your
absence
Says...  Stay...

Which it does
It never leaves
For what might ever leave
Without shoes

Being Me

Oh my...as sad as it is this poem is sooooo cleverly written. No one can leave without their shoes! Well, they can I suppose ... but they don't. So I totally get why the shoes must stay. And yet seeing the shoes there... those shoes... his shoes ...  oh I feel the dilemma my friend. An amazingly well written poem on loss. So clever. So brilliant. But I guess it wouldn't be anything less than awesome coming from you. Hugs ⚘⚘x
