Have all the tears ran dry.

There beneath the blistering sun , a polar bear lays starving, caught between the agony of currency
Not a schilling or a farthing
time has change but not enough
A penny for each cent
Twisted are my thoughts
In activity the way the world has went
Dry and broken the land
Abound, cracks in my heart
The city sound
Another movie, Ā another scene
The animals sufferings are cruel and mean
And I can't do anything
Except watch with tear filled
Eyes
This tragedy, screaming
Can't you hear their cries
Meanwhile blood is spilling
Another innocent dies
This world holds magic
In its hands
The strength of all to make
A difference, yet the way we live and collect silly items
New cars bigger houses
And boat's
Cut like wounds to a starving animal
Like daggers to their throats
I like to think that someone rich could save them from despair
And shed a lot of light where needed
And save the polar bear
Yet I question the emotions of man
Have all the tears ran dry
To watch them die the cruelest death
then look one in the eye
See the pain and sorrow
Feel its soul connect with yours
Then ask yourself this question, would you want to hold its paws.
