That in the end we get what we deserve

Why would you lie

We are standing at the end

This is not what they deserved

They did good

They did right

And yet they were tortured

And yet they have gone through worse than

The bad

The wrong

Who have escaped unscathed

Their lives at ease

We don’t get what we deserve

And yet you tell me to do good

And yet I still do
