HE STILL SEES THE LITTLE GIRL.. <3

He still sees the little girl.

He still sees the fragile heart

The delicate wings

But still leaves the woman to sing

He still sees the sensitive mind

And his baby’s eyes

But he knows he’s got to let this woman

 Follow what she wants to find

He still sees his little girl inside this woman’s world

And as much as he hesitates he has to let his girl go

It’s the only way she can grow

And learn from all he’s taught her to know

And he knows he will always be her home.

He held his baby tight in his arms

he watched her sleep through the night

And he always reminded her it will be alright

Now his little baby is ready to take flight

She is reminding him daddy, it will be alright

I know you are always here for me day or night

He saw her first smiles her first cries

And now he sees his little girl has grown wise

Even though he still sees his tiny girl  

Following behind in the shadow of the woman in front of him

He knows this woman is ready to begin

And the rewards are now hers to win

This woman is ready to sing

And this is where she would like to begin

From the very start I was always first

You got me through my worst

You once carried me through

Now I’m ready to soar beside you

In light of all you have taught me to do

And even though you little girl is still here

I’m Determined sincere and dear

I’m thinking clear

And even though ill always need you near

Daddy I’m ready to steer
