HE WALKED 600 MILES

 
The lyrics say I'd walk 500 miles if I'm not wrong
A long distance for sure but only a fictional song
This distance can be trumped and it's all true 
It's just amazing what a 11 year old boy can do

His parents stayed behind in war torn Ukraine 
Feel their anguish dear friend and feel their pain
The boy set out with a plastic bag and passport 
A mobile number written should he be caught 

Volunteers gave him provisions along the way 
The Slovakian border he was aiming to stay
He wanted no part of this terrible war crime 
So putting an end to his story written in rhyme
