The Head And The Heart

The Head And The Heart

God has lost thee
For he does not speak to me,
I followed the commands
Sailing stormy seas
In the palms of his hands.

Thou delivered me safely unto the beach,
To see to it I journey upon sacrificial feet;
Up into the highest holy hills of this shore
Testing faith to make the leap,
And listen for the atoning voice of our lord.

Heard no enlightened tongue
Or wisdom words given to the trouble some,
But a divine finger pointing at that of two body parts;
Behold a voice that speaks while the night becomes young,
What God desires is the actions of good, from the head and the heart.

Thanks HRL, I was inspired by kingdom of heaven a movie on this write had the title and thought an epic story to show the devotion and tested faith remains true if you show the goodness of your head and heart through decisions of life.
