Poem -

Healing

I asked for truth, despite knowing it would hurt so bad, I asked you to be real with me, even though I knew I'd hate you. I asked for truth, and a damaged heart responded, "Another scar to the collection."I asked you to be real with me, and I wanted to forget you. I asked for my truth, and I got it. Such hate spilled out of your lips, But I asked for that truth, to see the real you, To hear your truth.I asked for truth, and I got healing. I asked you to be real, and I began to love you. Such insanity, and yet my reality.
