Healing

Healing

Death warms me this cold sullen day
The rain has come and gone
I wait by the forest way
For suns this earth once shone
O Lies that rest 'neath the spindles
That stab and prick
For nature tells and swindles
And brings healing to the sick
Must we go back to
these worlds
Traveling through these paths
Seeming to unfold
What is deemed the devil's wrath
In shouts and screams of child
Across the mount and river wild
