Healing Awaits Me

Pain has engulfed my being.
Physical turmoil rakes over me.
An emotional ache spreads through my heart.
Surely this distress my God can see.
Perhaps this is why I heard from a friend.
Did God place the flowers on the table there?
Does his signature stand behind the precious cards?
Letting me know I'm being held up in prayer?
Have the phone calls been his voice in disguise?
The kind words passed along to me, from his heart?
I feel my Father's presence here.
His healing hand such peace imparts.
Did the hugs from my children, extend from his arms?
I just glimpsed from my neighbor, a reassuring smile!
Yes. In my Lord, sweet healing awaits me!
He walks beside me each and every mile.
Remember.....He will not leave us nor forsake us!

Thank you very much Christopher. What a sweet compliment. Made my morning brighter for sure! I wrote that poem at a very troublesome time in my life.....In fact during that two years, I believe I wrote many poems....At least 75!Β So, maybe...that was one of God's purposes for me in it all. If I had not been at that point, they would not have been written. I believe each moment of life....we make a decision....our reactions to our decisionsΒ are of utmost importance.Β God promises, if we are His, that He will bring good for us...even out of bad situations. Hi Paula....troubles are usually blessings in disguise...although we might not see the blessings at that time but as time goes on and events unfurl we get to see...I really enjoyed reading this and I find it very encouraging.
