The Heart Eater

The Heart Eater

She said
She had other plans
She left him
Sitting in the stands
A man,
He kept his pride
And left,
I doubt she even understands
But man,
He sinks within her sands
And falls
She never let's him land
And all
He ever wants to see
Is her smile that she keeps
Locked away in a chest hidden
From more than worthy hands
He could never even glance
She'd eat his heart
At the first chance
