Heart of Stone

Waiting for these walls to cave,

Piece by piece I've watched them fall.

And once again, I'm completly lost,

And did not expect this shit at all!

I had forgotten everything,

Including who I was inside.

Pretending things were all okay,

Holding tight onto my pride.

So I put on the face of happiness,

When inside tears fell like rain.

I kept this act up long enough,

I felt I may just go insane.

And yes,I am still standing here,

But my heart has turned to stone.

I'll live my life in solitude,

For eternity... alone.

As sad as that may seem to you,

I cannot wait to get away.

Living life all by myself,

Without betrayal everyday.

And once again I put on that face,

That I seem to wear so well.

To cover up the blood and scars,

From every other time I've fell.
