Heaven's Light

The moon,
had already tapped my shoulder
as she oft does in the midnights
Ever mindful of my need to see
her jewels
and her dress
Which she changes much and
often
though...
To always more exuberant and,
Never ever less
And last eve barely differed
Though, the wind carried no
sound
But still... the owls sang notes
of eerie as,
My fair moon toed the ground
And so,
Twas while I gazed enchanted
At the splendedness about that,
The yesterday of such
Midnight dreams
Came by and sat about
And twas then I knew true beauty
The truly gentle hand of love
So then for moments through
my darkness
I think I glimpsed... a god...

WOW!!! MARION!!....a God above?.......YAY!!.......I bet ya didn't see that comin' did ya!!??....this is SOO very beautiful....the language used to create the phrasing is exquisitely hewn from the heartbeat of love....you can feel it........the mixture of old language and new is VERY well distributed throughout....making it an easy read that flows with a STUNNING aspect......that of the rekindling of faith.....is that what I'm getting from this....yes, I think so......Truly a lovely and VERY powerful thing to behold and absorb!!....Thank you for sharing this my friend....it is Amazing!!.......PINNED for perfection!!......your cyber-friend and ever-admirer.........T xo : )
Aw...another stunning comment Tony. Yes you are right in the evaluation of the intent but sadly I cannot say I feel what I have written..I'm still exploring all possibilities but nothing feels right. Thanks so.much my friend x
This is perfectly worded! These words grab the reader and pulls them into this brilliant poem. Such elegance in your words throughout.
I adore the image these words conjure. We are never alone when we have our memories znc the good ones are our true friends.
