sticky red with crimson banks
a river formed from days angry ranks
written as a child

you react to each suggested vice
now behind shoulders drawn
in a vision sold to create more space
lays the immortal face
Around the chalk
broken mirrored glass
each reflection kissing the last
see my tears
how they collect shiver in your fears
I am spilling across the vast night
creeping into every crack
each delight
no salted line
or crucifix divided
can hide me from
that wicked tongue
I am the immortal
