Hello My Love!

(This was a true love letter to my wife of 25 years before she passed away..)

Hello My Love: 10/09/2004

I gaze impassively downward towards this barren paper. My fingers awkwardly seek inspiration in ways to express my passions for you. Many depressions have stormed their way into my loneliness. This stool of timber sways not from my leaden heart. The reclining drawing board b...efore me tilts as if warning me of my mental incline. My secluded journeys harvests desires beyond my physical grasp.
Uncertainly I turn my visions toward the smoke discolored window. The hard fevered surface of the asphalt nearby spreads its never-ending tentacles, searching homewards.
The roadside flowers staggered by my admiration toward their beauty, stopped their discussions to entice my opinions towards their vibrant skirts.
A sudden stiff breeze raced through the gaping window, bringing unexpected life to the boundaries of the paper spread before me. The chilling effect aroused me for a moment, channeling my interest back to my duty before me.
My palms steamed of sweat as they waited nervously to guide my fingers motions to convey my signature of love upon the papers face.
The visions of you in my arms as we kissed, sauntered hand in hand, encircled my memories. I grew exhausted from the lack of ability to express my love within words.
All my relentless attempts produced only watermarks from my tears of shame. As my heart was disastrous in expressing the feelings I have towards you. You are worthy of much more than I can possibly articulate.
Please forgive me for not being cultured in the art of communicating my love that my heart holds for you. Tomorrow I will be home and you will be able to witness it as our eyes greet and finalize our fate. For now I just want you to know, ā€œI Love You and miss you beyond all boundaries of our subsistenceā€
My head now heavy from travel and thinking of you, slowly descends to press my face upon my words for you, as I fall asleep in a dream of you, hopefully leaving a enduring impression within this note. Leaving the letter beneath my weary ear, so when the morning sun tiptoes within my dreams, the first words I will hear will be I love you, as the letter speaks the words I have written, awakening my memories of you.
I Love You!
Forever!

Signed John
