HELP SAVE A LIFE
We give our blood to help save a life...
A blood transfusion has saved a mom and an unborn baby...
It saved someone's father...
It saved a son...
It saved a daughter...
When we give what is needed...
Some people will give a kidney...
Some will receive a heart...
We don't always know who the donor is...
We share this part of ourselves?
We accept the gift to be able to have another chance...
Why can't we share...
Love?
There is still a need to give greater than ours to receive...
Help save a life...
Don't help destroy them...
Hugs...

Hello Sis Cherie...
I had donated blood and little did I know that I would have a medical problem that would put me in a spot of needing someone's to save me...
I had to have two blood transfusions or...
My son and I would have died....
I accepted the blood of strangers to...
Give my son and I a chance...
There was no guarantee, but without it...
The answer came one night and I had to have an emergency c-section...
If it wasn't for the donors we surely would have died...
I wanted so much to be a live donor...
But, because of my families history and my own kidney issues...
The best I could do..
Was to donate blood...
I think about who may have received it...
If it was a prejudice person that would hate me if they saw me...
My only words to them would be...
I am glad you are still here and...
I pray you know the second chance you have been given and your life is good...
Thank you for your comment Sis...
Hugs...

I can totally relate to you sweetie in this piece because my life and that of my daughter Georgina`s were saved through a transfusion in an emergency c-section as she was six weeks premature and she became stuck in the birth canal and I was losing a lot of blood so I know how important it is to give as well as to receive donations. Well done for beautifully pointing out the importance of such a an act of respect for others. I`m proud of you.
Love and hugs
G xx
Hello Sis Georgina...
I am happy for you and your daughter...
I am sorry you both went through that...
My son was born in my seventh month...
I had a condition known as placenta previa...
I prayed every night and everyday for my son...
The night he was delivered I was bleeding again...
He was losing oxygen and they weren't sure if I was even given enough blood...
There was nothing they could do, but deliver him and keep a close eye on us both...
I met a woman who had the same condition at the same time as me...
We were about the same age and everything...
So much we had in common...
Some good and some not...
We both delivered about the same time...
However, Â after they delivered her daughter...
They had alot of complications and because of that...
I never got to see her again...
She was still in the hospital when I was released...
I always wanted to thank the donors...
I was able to thank the Doctors and the special nurses in the NICU...
Thank you for your comment...
I am so happy you and your daughter made it through...
My heart goes out to the ones who tried and it wasn't successful...
Love and hugs...
