" Her Attic Room "...

She sits alone, staring at blank pages
Day's gone by, alone in her Attic room
She recalls regrets from her frantic mind
Born here, in her Attic room
The loss of her best friends life
In puddles of blood
Right here in her Attic room
her heartbeat is racing
mind is complaining
fingers are clutching
days are just rushing
well-wishers worrying
thoughts are discouraging
she SLAMS DOWN HER HEAD
here, in her Attic room
She sits alone, facing four walls
Her memories are torturing her soul
She knows she can't take this
So she slips away into gray emptiness
Recalling much better days and nights
The nurses come in and give her
Her six O'clock meds
And she fades away to the places she's been
Like here, in her Attic room
Like there, in her Attic room
Like a carousel recalling
The shadowy times, death and blood
On the walls.....
her pulse rate is climbing
thoughts are unwinding
memories, like almanacs
hurting like heart attacks
pain is the killer
pills the fulfiller
mommy and daddy
are gone.....
She sits alone, staring at blank pages
Years gone by, alone in her Attic room
She recalls death from her fixated mind
Born here, in her Attic room
Knowing this, is where she would die
In puddles of blood
Right here, in her Attic room
The nurses rush in
She's done it again
Scratched her way bloody
Through padded walls in her cell
In an attempt to forget
Her Attic room
That started it all
The Attic room
In her mind
The Attic room
Where she feels
Nothing at all.......

I cried too J` what a sad tale of such awful torment with no end in sight!! It describes the torture of deep depression and the helplessness and lack of hope for a release. Wow! this was a deep one T` well done kidda! I Love You. G xx
